TELL US MORE ABOUT YOURSELVES?
“We reside in Centurion, where I work as an Industrial Psychologist with SAPS, while Roschan is a lecturer at New Bridge Institute. We have a 14-week-old baby boy named Xoán, and we enjoy hiking, river rafting, and other outdoor activities in our spare time.”
HOW AND WHEN DID YOU MEET?
“We met in 2015 at Ridgebacks Pub in Centurion when we were both out with friends.”
HOW DID HE PROPOSE?
“He popped the question during our 6-year anniversary celebration at Hartebeespoort Dam while we enjoyed a horseback ride and picnic.”
WHY DID YOU ENTER THE COMPETITION?
“We wanted to enjoy some quality time together while exploring wedding vendors, even if it meant we didn’t win an all-expenses-paid wedding.”
WHAT WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE COMPETITION?
“The fun activities we did together and ultimately the WIN.”
HOW DID IT FEEL WHEN YOU WERE ANNOUNCED AS THE WINNERS?
“We were ecstatic, jumping up and down, and crying happy tears!”
WHAT WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE THROUGHOUT THE WEDDING PLANNING PHASE? WERE THERE ANY SPECIFIC VENDORS THAT REALLY STOOD OUT FOR YOU?
“Overall, it was a positive experience. Despite the limited planning time, the established structure and framework with the vendors helped streamline the process. We got married on 13 August 2022 and were particularly impressed by several vendors, including Diep in die Berg, our wedding venue, as well as La Moraine Cakes, Anla Photography, Creations de Splendeur, Cream Cheese DJs, Magic Mirror Memories, and Kilima Private Game Reserve.”
WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE DONE DIFFERENTLY?
“I would have chosen a slightly more comfortable dress design.”
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO COUPLES THAT WANT TO ENTER THE COMPETITION?
“Just enjoy the experience together and take lots of pictures to keep as memories.”

“The venue’s service was outstanding, and Con Grazia’s live entertainment perfectly created the ideal atmosphere.”
